I built Induz from a local arts initiative into a nonprofit reaching approximately 60,000 children through 150 schools and community settings. Working with educators, artists, volunteers and institutional partners, I developed programs that made creative and cultural learning more accessible. Our work extended across the United States, India, Kenya and Colombia.

THE CHALLENGE
Children in under-resourced schools and communities often had limited access to consistent arts education. I wanted to create an affordable, repeatable model that brought creative learning and exposure to different cultures into the places children already learned and gathered.
THE APPROACH
I developed multidisciplinary programs combining visual art, music, movement and storytelling with cultural learning. Through partnerships with schools, libraries and community organizations, we adapted delivery to different ages, resources and settings. Shared curriculum and facilitator guidance helped educators and volunteers deliver programs consistently.
How I Built and Scaled Induz
Program Development
Created arts and cultural education programs, including Passport to World Arts, and adapted them for different communities and learning environments.
Partnership Development
Built relationships with schools, libraries, YMCA programs, Playworks, donors and community organizations to expand access and support delivery.
Artist and Volunteer Leadership
Recruited, trained and coordinated artists, educators and volunteers around a shared mission and clear program expectations.
Organizational Leadership
Led strategy, fundraising, budgets, communications, events and daily operations, building repeatable systems to support growth.

Grassroots Arts Education in India
Established creative learning programs for disadvantaged children in Assam, Bangalore and Katwa, West Bengal. Activities included drawing, painting, music and dance in supportive community settings.
Passport to World Arts
Multicultural Arts Education
Created a passport-inspired curriculum introducing children to global cultures through art, music, movement and storytelling. Delivered through schools, libraries, YMCA after-school programs and community organizations.
